The O’rangers had themed the league around sand, cacti and tumbleweeds, but Orlango was more than that- it was the meeting place of ocean, desert, field, and swamp. The O’Marbles farmed the flat and fertile lands, but while the orange groves had a lot of charm, they weren’t exactly flashy. Pinky Winky found Billy relaxingContinue reading “Marble League 2025: High Noon”

Marble League 2025: Sunrise
By the time they had trudged up the field, Rapidly was completely covered in sand. At their station was a towel—the team was waiting in the stadium.
Though other athletes were frantically drying off, Rapidly lazily slung the towel around themself. Sure, they were happy to medal, but silver was no longer a cause for celebration.

ML2024 Memo #4: Hour of Redemption
“They’ve done it! They’ve beaten the record!”
On the last run of the last heat, those words were spoken. Momomo and Mo had bettered the record in the dying moments of Climbing, leaving no questions about where the duo would place in the event…
ML2024 Memo #3: The Guarding of The Change
As the sun began its setting, three picnic-bound hikers began a slow-paced ascent up the side of the imposing Mt. Bonsel. Even now, they can remember it as clearly as day. “I need you to take over the team,” Rosa had asked, quiet and resolute. “My resignation letter is on Promise’s desk.” To say they hadn’t seen the resignation coming would be a lie.Continue reading “ML2023 Memo #12: Rolling Waves In The Tide of Change”
ML2023 Memo #10: A Bitter Taste
A silver medal finish would be worthy of celebration to many. It wasn’t gold by any means, but to have beaten fourteen other teams and given the chance to stand on the podium was usually just enough to drown out the woes of what could have been. Usually, anyways; if you happened to be ThunderContinue reading “ML2023 Memo #10: A Bitter Taste”
