Marble League 2025: Sunset

Orlango’s beach was perfect for a postcard — its sun-kissed sands and glittering waves, its cotton-white clouds in the sky which were trimmed with silver in daytime and gold in sunset, its seafoam which swirled in hypnotic eddies, round and round.

ML2024 Memo #5: Beyond The Horizon

Glidavik’s limited daylight had run out by the time all the decorations were put up, but it was just as well. As Bumble rounded the corner, Foggy connected the plugs, causing all the lights to turn on at once and a gasp of delight from the captain.

“Thank you so much for your help,” smiled Bumble as Foggy descended.

ML2024 Memo #1: The More Things Change

After the Ice Dash ended, Billy found Smoggy in the Hazers’ common room as usual, slumped dejectedly against the couch watching local news play no louder than a hum.

This was the team’s first dead last performance.

M1S5 Memo #3: Like Blossoms On The Water

Rosaka (28/9/24) Rosaka was overstimulating at the best of times, but Ruzzy had an apparent knack for picking the loudest and brightest spots in the entire city. First was a comics convention, second was a busy cafe, now was an arcade in the middle of the city. Not practiced enough to play anything on theirContinue reading “M1S5 Memo #3: Like Blossoms On The Water”

M1S5 Memo #1: The Places Between the Races

Hunluen – 1/9/24 Exiting the elevator onto the bustling streets of Hunluen, Ruzzy didn’t realize for a few seconds that the sun had set in the half hour they were underground. The block was a blinding array of shops and food vendors. A department store opposite the vendors beckoned customers with neon arrows flashing inContinue reading “M1S5 Memo #1: The Places Between the Races”
