Contributors

Project Marblearth would be nothing without the marble sports fanbase: a robust community that is always eager to engage with the content of Jelle’s Marble Runs and bring it to the next level. The members of the community who have contributed to Project Marblearth are featured on this page.

Editorial Board

The Editorial Board serves to support the Project’s volunteer system of contributors and project its creative voice throughout the marble sports community. It ensures that Project Marblearth can be a safe space for fans to share artwork, stories, and other creative content by engaging with contributors to supervise their progress and collaborate when desired or needed. The Board functions as a decentralized, collaborative organ that maintains an interdependent relationship between its members and contributors working on the Project.

GhostDM

Marblearth Administrator

Hector (AKA ghostDM) discovered Jelle’s Marble Runs in 2019, quickly falling in love with the Green Ducks and Ghost Plasma. After tumbling headfirst into the marble twitter scene in late 2020, he has grown into a prominent figure in the community, running the Ghost Plasma, Green Ducks and Team Plasma fan accounts on Twitter and appearing as a regular cast member on the Let It Roll podcast. A longtime admirer of Stynth’s work, Hector joined Project Marblearth as a writer in 2021, and after being elected to the Editorial Board has thrown himself into overseeing the Marble Memos series and working on the Project’s upcoming Marble Rally lore releases. Besides obsessing over glass balls, Hector is a singer, cellist and choir conductor, and enjoys playing tennis and D&D.

Phoenix

Marblearth Administrator

Phoenix discovered the magic of marble sports around 2017, but it was only later on that the intricacies and the community captured them to entirely engage with the Discord community. Enjoying the sports for what they were, Phoenix became a fan of all the teams and their activity on the Discord community was merely the spark to a long-serving passion for getting involved with other fans and finding out about the lore of each team. Initially known in the community for just long paragraphs of “wisdom”, as well as always being there for a random conversation about anything, Phoenix found themselves becoming more and more interested in writing and creativity to do with marbles.

Phoenix joined the Project Marblearth author team in early 2021 after inspiration to share their creative passions and help flesh out the world of Marblearth, while also contributing photography and artwork.

Away from a life of marbles, Phoenix enjoys acting, singing, music, and dancing. They have high hopes for the future of Project Marblearth and are glad to be a part of it on its journey.

Now an active community member, he has since become a dedicated Raspberry Racers fan, but the Marble Rally remains his favourite and he hopes he can help bring the stories of its competitors to life in the project. Outside of marbles, Dolphin loves the ocean, wildlife, history and motorsports, and enjoys playing the French Horn and acting.

Evolution

Editor, Graphic Designer, Writer

Evolution got into the JMR Expanded Universe while watching Marble League 2022. She was swiftly put into a chokehold by Team Primary and has yet to get out of it. (Who would want to?) Beyond the Marble League, she likes Summer Sky, Amethyst, and Big Pearl. Her favorite part of being on Project Marblearth is watching articles come together in real time, as well as receiving and offering suggestions to her fellow contributors. She hopes all of the articles she helps create pass with flying colors in your eyes.

Uh, hi. I’m kimchi, Team Momo fan since day 1, Minties fan since day -1, and notable fermented cabbage disliker. I don’t know how I got here, but it started in 2022 where I was introduced to the ML and then went back to watch quite literally everything I missed. And now we’re here I guess.

Momoikkai

Artist, Photographer, Writer

Momoikkai stumbled across JMR in 2020, but it wasn’t until rediscovering it in 2022 that she got invested after Team Momo stole her heart. Since then she has spent countless hours on expressing her love for the channel through creating colorful fanart and indepedent writing, both of which eventually led her to join the project! She hopes to create works for the project that give fans one more reason to fall in love with their favorite teams and marbles all over again. Outside of the project, Momoikkai enjoys working on her latest masterpieces, screaming about Team Momo at any given chance, and hanging out with her cats.
